I love South Texas!!!! (Of course I've never lived anywhere else!)David walked Casey for a mile this afternoon .........when he came home, hot and sweaty..he said, "I'm going swimming!"....he did..not me! I prefer the water - bath-water warm. David loves the cold water. After his swim, we sat on the patio and discussed all of our blessings ..... which are MANY!
Jeanne, I continue to think about your words:......."Just remember that every little bit that you lose of David.... God is taking car of that part of him.." What a comfort!!!! Thank you!
And...... I say, "thank you God for comforting words, our little dog, walking, swimming, warm weather ....... and David!"

I remember when we were little how much dad loved swimming in that ice cold spring water in NB... yikes! I think he must be related to a polar bear :-)

Dolores, you are most certainly welcome. Your dear friend, Nelwynn, said some very comforting words to me after my little dog, Quincy's, death that sort of re-formed how I thought about the process of moving beyond our mortal life and how God takes care of us in each little moment that we move toward Him. So, as much as you thank me, Nelywnn's wisdom is part of that, too. God works in wonderful ways.
