I'm pinching myself to make sure that I'm not dreaming. Our daughter's family was here on Saturday......5 children.......ages 6 to 9 years old. There were 10 of us all together, celebrating Francie's 20th b'day and Father's Day. David was relaxed and enjoyed the entire day.
Later in the evening, our son and his family came over and the day continued to be good for David.
Ellie (8 years old) is here for the week, and she and David have enjoyed playing with water guns and racing in the pool.
With Alzheimer's, life is unpredictable.........second thought....... life is unpredictable. We're enjoying the good days!
And I say, "thank you God ."

Oh I'm so happy that Uncle David enjoyed his family all around him!! How precious are these memories when you're all together!

Hi there ... of course I can't stop visiting you in spite of my blog break.
Good to know what a great day everyone had. I suspect having such a warm, supportive and loving family is going to be David's salvation!
We had such a wonderful visit with y'all! The kids had a blast and it's great to see how well dad is doing!

I am so glad that you are having and enjoying good days! God Knows... I did with my Mother! We had lots of good days.... and I loved every minute of them!
