David with his two precious sisters, Norma and Sandi.....
Each time that David gets the 'foggy Alzheimer look' .... I think, "Ok here we go, on the downhill journey of moving forward with Alzheimer's".......David, as a teenager, with his sister, Sandi.
And then he amazes me!!! He's been absolutely wonderful all week!!!! It's funny (not really funny) that his mood can change in a heartbeat, but for now, ..... he's been consistently good for over a week. No 'sightings'....no 'alzheimer depression'........ Thank you God for the good days!

There are so many people in our lives who change in looks over the years ... but your David looks today as he did as a boy. You tell him from Helen in Oregon that he is quite the man!
Dolores - so thankful you and David are having good days. Indeed: thank God . . .{I agree with Helen - David doesn't look much different than he did in his younger days - partially, I am sure, because of the happiness you two have shared throughout the years.}

Dolores, good morning my friend. Isn't it wonderful when we have good weeks and we can put this disease on the back burner even for just a weeee bit of time? Mr.P too had a good week last week. Like you we cherish each and everyone of those we get.. I'm praying this week is just as good for David and for you..

Hello my dear friend, I always love when you stop by. You are always so encouraging. I know I've found a true friend in you. It is so nice to know there is someone else out there taking the same journey we are. As you can see by the post, I'm snapping pictures like crazy. Aren't digital cameras just the best?
