NOISE - PEOPLE - CONFUSION!

Shopping during the Christmas season can be nerve jangling..... add Alzheimer's, and it's not a pretty picture.    I needed to buy a few more gifts last week,  and David wanted to go shopping with me........the store was very noisy, unfamiliar to him,  busy- busy, and a lot of confusion,   we didn't stay long....... too much confusion for him.

Thankfully we shopped first,  and then we went to Olive Garden (his favorite).......perfect.....It took him awhile to stop frowning and to calm down, ....... but food always seems to soothe his mood and  lift his spirit...... Yea!

We had a very good week (other than shopping).....We have many blessings!!

I'm sharing  two hilarious photos of our children at my uncle's store in 1967..... This   Santa is so pitiful!

Same year, different Santa.....but two sick children......

And I say, "thank you God for so many blessings".

Hi Dolores, The pictures are adorable. Isn't it wonderful to have those to reflect back upon? I've asked Mr. P a couple of times if he wants to even go for a ride, and he always declines. Today a former employee of ours stopped by and he enjoyed the visit, although short. Now, he's totally worn out. I'm always amazed at the small things that seem to wear him down. I'm not sure about you, but I'm just trying to get through this busy time of the year, so things can slow down.. From our home to yours darling, A Very Merry Christmas..

Wonderful pictures. Anyone would get stressed this time of year shopping. Thanks goodness for Olive Garden. Eating helps me calm down too. Have a very Merry Christmas!!!

I'm glad you were able to have a nice lunch at Olive Garden after the stress of shopping.
Your photos today are adorable. I did have to chuckle a little at the first Santa's beard.

Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Blessings,
Kim
