Years ago, when our children were small, Luby's cafeteria was one of our favorite restaurants. We went there yesterday, for old time sake, and because we had a gift certificate. The food and service was good, but for David to see all the choices, and for him to try and make a decision, with people waiting in line behind him, plus trying to push the tray, and wait for the dish to be handed to him,....... this was a lot of confusion and stress. For cafeteria's, I say, ......"we've been there, done that." From now on, we'll go where we can sit down, order, relax and be served. We need to avoid any situation that stresses him.
I'm so thankful that David still loves to eat, and enjoys going to restaurants (as long as we don't go to a cafeteria). Lesson learned on making choices.......

I know this is an old post, but my mother would be confused with all the choices when we would go to a fast food resturant. I knew her well, and what she liked, so I knew what to order for her.
