This photo of two year old Laura, and our son, Jeff....., has always made me smile..... I just love it!!!
Our daughter Karen, and her cousin Laura, spent many a summer vacation together, making memories and having fun. 
David and I have always had a special love for Laura.....she's more than a niece....We've always had a special connection, and for that ...I am so thankful. 
Laura was among the very first that I called when I knew David had Alzheimer's.
Laura was among the very first that I called when I knew David had Alzheimer's. I knew without a doubt that she would listen to my every concern, and cry with me..... which she did and has done. She has a listening ear and a caring heart.........
My brother, ... Laura's dad, died 23 years ago. His death was a great loss to all of us who knew and loved him, but for David and me.....a part of my brother lives on, through Laura.
I say, "thank you God for special blessings ."

Oh Aunt Dolores, I don't know what to say!! I am touched beyond words! We were all blessed to be part of the same family. And all the LOVE and the memories we've shared carries us through the hard times. Thank you Aunt Dolores and Uncle David for always loving and supporting me in my life!
It's so funny that you should show that first pic because I was looking at it just last night! I was organizing my pics on the computer and I stopped on that one! :-)
