How time flies when you're having fun! 46 years ago today we were married in the First United Methodist Church, Seguin, Texas......a small and simple wedding ....exactly what we wanted. We had a three day honeymoon to Corpus Christi.... we were suppose to have a view of the bay........ Well, IF you stood on the bed and looked out the little window, you could see some water...... a good memory.
A 'continental breakfast' sounded so exotic..... HA!... We were so young and innocent ...... We really didn't know the simplicity of a 'continental breakfast'........I love it!
We've had a great life together, and I wouldn't change a moment......
We celebrated our anniversary on Friday, Saturday and again today. Friday we went to lunch at Palmer's, our favorite restaurant. We've gone to Palmer's for 24 years, and the food is still as delicious as it was the first time. They have a beautiful patio area, and the weather was perfect! We ate outside, and ordered our favorite dish.....' Chicken Palmer '.... a grilled chicken breast with a slice of avodado, tomato, swiss cheese and brown gravy....salad with honey mustard, and fried sweet potatoes with sea salt.....hmmmmm!
Yesterday was Blake's in McQueeney...... Chicken fried steak, baked potato with everything on it, and salad with honey mustard...... hmmmmm!
Today ..... We'll go to Sunday school and church and then to our favorite Chinese restaurant and meet our son, and his family...... not sure what we will order....probably Hunan chicken for David and broccoli chicken for me..... hmmmm!
You can tell that food is important to us......smile!
David is still doing great....... and I say, "thank you God for 46 wonderful years of marriage, for our children, grandchildren and friends."

Wow!!!! 46 years huh???? My parents met when they were 16 and married when they were 20. They got to their 49th year of marriage before my mom passed. That 49th year was golden though!!!! :)
