We've had two wonderful weeks! I don't know why David is doing so well, but he is, and for that I am so thankful!!!
The beard is still growing. I suppose we're in this for the long haul, because David loves not shaving, and I bought a beard trimmer. The bottom line: if he's happy .... I'm happy.
We took Casey to be groomed today at Thunderpaws, a wonderful privately owned pet shop, dog groomer and trainer. Our little town is so lucky to have such a nice place with caring people. We think Casey looks and smells so good when we bring her home, but she doesn't agree. The first thing she does ..... run to the sofa or the grass and roll around trying to remove the 'smell good.'
God is Good!

Well David and Casey are looking very nice, I must say. Don't you just want to smack em' when they rebel against all the money you spend and roll? Oh well. Beau can't go to the groomers because he tries to bite them. So I bathe him myself, which is a real pain in my back! Casey is such a pretty dog. Please blog about the kind of dog she is.

My guy has had a Go-tee (sp?) for 10 years now and I love it. Soooo handsome!
Now...good days are here for you because God's mercy and love never fail.
Love to you~ So happy these past two weeks have been good. Good is good! ;) So is God!

Wonderful David is doing well! The beard looks nice and if he is happy that is a bonus.
Happy is good for everyone. God is Great!
Casey on the other hand is beautiful, look at those soft ears, kissy, kissy them for me.
I like the beard! It suits David very nicely. The dog groomer - love those days. We use a mobile groomer and our dog (Margot) starts shaking like a leaf as soon as she hears the van pull in the driveway. Poor dear. She doesn't want the groomer to leave by the end of the experience though. I agree - the smell is so wonderful! For a few days at least. Then back to the doggie smell!

Please tell David from me ... he is looking quite sophisticated and scholarly right now. And it's all good.
My mother in law was just diagnosed with this.We knew something was wrong as she is more and more forgetful and her personality has changed ,she says and does things that out of character for her.She has lived with us for 8 years. Its not easy ,some days she is fine others not so fine by a long stretch...
I hope you get more good days than bad.
Take care
Diane
Dolores,
I am so grateful for the two weeks of wellness David has experienced. I know it brings you both joy and peace to see him doing so well.
Please know that I think of you so often and appreciate all your kind comments left on my blog. you have become a dear friend and I enjoy hearing from you.
Blessings to you and David today.
In Grace,
Marie
Haha! Buddy does the same thing...our sofa, the stairs, and if I'm not careful, the bed!! She looks so pretty and regal!! :-)
I'm so glad Uncle David is doing so good!!!! And he looks so handsome with the beard! Like I said once...he's kinda Clint Eastwood looking! :-)
Love you!! L~
Cassie looks so pretty and dad looks great too!
I still think dad should grow his hair out and let me braid it. Then, he can look like one of his favorite singers... Willie Nelson ;-)
I like the beard!! Tell him I said he looked handsome with his new beard.
I am so thankful for this wonderful gift of time!! Praising God in all things is something you do well, Delores!! This time I join you in celebrating the joy of David and your marriage (and beards and faithful dogs). :)
How wonderful to hear that David (& you) have had 2 good weeks. I hope it will continue for many more weeks. I think David looks very nice with his beard. Funny story about your doggy.
Good news Dolores! Two good weeks! We are grateful for whatever we can get, aren't we? David looks very debonair in his beard and he and your doggie look like they're having a fine old time. I'm sure she brings great joy into both of your lives! Here's praying for more good weeks for you!
