We've been blessed with a wonderful life together!!!
Right now ..... it isn't what I'd hoped and dreamed our life would be at this time in our life, but I can reflect back on all the wonderful times we've had together.....and, how can I complain? I won't...
How time flies when you're having fun! 48 years ago today we were married in the chapel of First United Methodist Church, Seguin, Texas......a small and simple wedding ....exactly what we wanted.
We had a three day honeymoon to Corpus Christi. We were suppose to have a view of the bay. The only way we had a view was standing on the bed and looking out the little window...... a good and funny memory.
A 'continental breakfast' sounded so exotic..... HA!... We were so young and innocent . We really didn't know the simplicity of a 'continental breakfast'........Another good and funny memory!
We've been blessed with a great life together!

How can anyone as young looking as you be married for 48 years? It is wonderful to take hold of all of your wonderful memories together and embrace each one. Sometimes I think that adversity makes us feel the gratitude on a deeper level, counting each blessing and basking in all that God has given to us.
