Thank you!

Thank you for the encouragement and sweet comments you gave me last week!    You are a blessing in my life ..... and you lifted my spirits so much!!!

The state of Texas is on fire, the east coast is flooding, people are being diagnosed with dreadful diseases, people without jobs........people hurting...... anything I  post right now .....seems so insignificant.

My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who is hurting...... I'll return again in a few days.....meanwhile,  thanks again!!!

Yes, many people have it worse than us, but it doesn't negate that we are going through hard times.

Remember, you're my inspiration. I strive to be like you!

Love to you and David!

You vent anytime you need too! Lord knows we are here on this earth to encourage each other and lift one another up. So never apologize; there are none needed. You my dear friend are an inspiration to everyone around you.
Love and blessings,
Vikki

Of course your problems are NOT insignificant! You are such a sweet person to worry about all the others who are hurting right now, but you have every right to express how you feel. That's exactly what this blog is for - to give you an outlet to say things that you need to say so that you can go on dealing with the unfairness of David's illness.

Take care of yourself, Dolores. Many, many people care about you, including me!

Love
Gilda

Hello dear one! I did my civic duty and sat through two+ hours of orientation, forms and listening to both the prosecuting and defense attorneys question/comment the potential jurors. A duii case involving a really lovely blonde young woman. The jury will be six persons AND I was not chosen. Now, I guess you would think I might feel relief ... now I'm wondering 'what's wrong with me?'

The large photo of you an David in the Hallucinations post is the most amazing image of the two of you I have seen! Priceless.

Thank you for your honest and revealing posts, especially the previous one on hallucinations and paranoia. It gives me hope and encouragement as I give care to my dear husband.

So many folks hurting one way or another. I pray for everyone. Our problems here also seem like nothing compared to so many others. We had to purchase a smaller chair to wheel my husband around the house because the wheel chair is too big, he is unable to walk now and he is 6ft. tall, I am only 5.2 so it's difficult for me to help him in trying to walk, this chair will make things much easier for us. Hugs...Lu

HI Dolores,
Just a note to say hello, and I hope that you are feeling better and that you are out of harms way from the fires.

Last week I felt overwhelmed with sadness, not just for my own grief, but because my beautiful Vermont is devastated by the floods and it seemed that everywhere I turned there was bad news and hopelessness.

I went to the library and took out some books written by some old friends I used to read. They reminded me that when God told us that He would never give us a burden too heavy to carry, He still wanted us to dwell on things that were good to give us rest.

Your posts are never insignificant. Blogging is our way of escaping into a lovely world of support and encouragement, while the world is in turmoil.

You are my blessing, and I know you are so many people's blessings.

I turned on the news yesterday and turned it back off. I gave this weekend to the Lord because it's just too overwhelming. Instead I have put up a post about a Design giveaway.

Please stop by and leaving a comment. I'll announce the winner next week.

Have a good day.

Hi sweetie, I hope you're having a better week. These are very trying times, I get so fed up trying to make ends meet and a roof over our head and an upbeat attitude about the whole thing. Poor Mr. P is so childlike at times, he just says I can handle it. Can I? Somedays I wonder, the alone time is the worst, too much thinking. Ok enough of my pity party here,, onwards and upwards!!!! Tomorrow is a better day. love ya girl.. hugs ~lynne~
