AN EXCHANGE OF CHILDREN

Yesterday was an exchange of grandchildren. We exchanged Ellie for nine year old Laura and seventeen year old Cameron. Laura usually gets homesick within the first day or night of being here. So far so good....she hasn't said a word about missing her family....... I think she's having too much fun playing with her nine year old cousin, Andrew, who came over to play.

The terrible heat that we're having has really put a damper on David's walking. Before the high temperatures, he had been taking long walks several times a day. The walking helped to fill his day by giving him something to do besides watching TV or reading......not to mention the exercise.

It's so hot and sunny that we can't go swimming until after 6:00, but I am so thankful that we have our pool.

I love this picture of Cameron and David!

I love this one too!!!

And I say, "thank you God for cool water on hot days."

Looks like they are having a great time! The pictures are great!

Sorry about it being too hot for dad to do his routine walking, but like you said thank you God for the pool! It's good that he has it to look forward to each day.

I am amazed at how happy David looks all of the time! That is such a reflection on your marriage and your lifestyle. Keep up the wonderful work!

Hi sweetie.. these pictures are priceless.. I know what you mean about the heat. Bill has had to stay inside quite a bit as well. The last couple of days our humidity has disappeared and the nights are cooler so much better for his breathing.. but his getty up and go has gone for now.. hopefully, the next couple of days that will come back...
hugs ~lynne~
