PRAISE GOD and GLORY HALLELUJAH!!!!!!! A huge surprise for me when I walked in our little study this morning; David was holding the newspaper. I have know idea, and don't care if he was actually reading or understanding. The sight of him holding the newspaper and looking deeply engrossed in it, was the best feeling!! He hasn't looked at the paper in two weeks.
My best friend called when I was taking this picture of him, and she shared with my excitement. I commented to David that I was telling our friend that he was reading, and he chuckled and said, "sometimes I go haywire."
Each hour is a new adventure, and for me.....I'm beyond happy seeing him with a newspaper in his hands.
And I say, "thank you God for this wonderful surprise gift today!"

Such a balanced at ease picture of "receiving" and absorbing information in our own space: we surely take it too much for granted before difficulties can strike .... Thank you Dolores for once again sharing and allowing us to celebrate with you Yea...

HAHAHAHA (my head thrown back with delighted laughter)
I wanted to ask the other day, when you shared your sadness about David no longer leaving: Do skills ever sort of come and go/ ebb and flow?
Now, it appears that they may! So happy for your, friend. So happy.
I'm rejoicing with you! Bless your heart! I love that the Lord gives you such grace to find "HIM" working in your daily life.
Thank you for your encouragement. I am so ready to move and looking forward to being closer to my kiddos.
Oh this must have been so exciting! It's making me grin and I love your hubby's response.
(I'm one of your lurkers...After my grandmother was no longer reading, I went into her room one day to find her holding the book "First We Have Coffee." I asked her what she was reading and she said, "First We Have Coffee" and then added, "And then we'll have tea." It made my day, too. Sometimes it's the little things.)
dolores, you and david inspire me to pieces!!!!!!!!
hugs to both of you.
happy newspaper day (i'm throwing shredded newspaper)
