.............Good Neighbors Need No Fences.............

Our next door neighbor took this beautiful picture of Cam and Casey.   The picture will be on the March page of  our local humane society calendar, with the title..." Good neighbors need no fences."   We keep the gate open between our homes..... we share our dogs.    What a blessing!.
David and his sweet little friend, Casey.

Tuesday was Christmas with our Houston family....it was a very good day, and David was better than I expected.   He's been a little more confused than usual, but I think that's to be expected with all that's going on.

The children would make a good advertisement for Snuggie's.....now we need some cold weather...

I captured a picture of our daughter and my best friend together ......got it~

I truly don't know what I'd do without their listening ears, big hearts, (advice) .....and  their unconditional love ~  I am blessed!!

Another sweet Christmas memory from the past.
Merry Christmas and may God bless each of you~

I'm sure the apples don't fall far from the tree, Dolores. They had really good parents. So happy for another good year for you and David.
Hugs, Deb.

What a beautiful family. I love the pictures of the dogs together, it would make a great picture to hang anywhere in someone's home. I hope you're having a good holiday season. Our Miss Scooter isn't feeling well, so you know what that does to Mr. P. From our home to yours a Very Merry Christmas!

With a mom like you, how could you not have wonderful kids? I like David's beard! I'm glad he likes animals...my dads dog was his favorite thing!

Clynt is more confused too, as we keep bringing in stuff and moving things around; probably the same as David is feeling.

May your holiday bring you more love and joy from your friends and family than you imagine and know that your friends on the other side of the US think about you all the time. Merry Christmas my dear friend!

xx

Dolores,

Yesterday in his hospital bed my husband was asked what holiday was coming and he said Thanksgiving! We have been soooo thankful we weren't killed. Now as of several hours ago he is home for Christmas! Thanks for your prayers, Dolores.

Love this post. Hope your Christmas is wonderful.

Hugs,
Carol

There's nothing more soothing than a pet AND you get to borrow your neighbors? Twice the unconditional love!

Hi Delores, I see Casey peeking from behind a lawn chair in the 'best friend' photo. cute. David looks really nice with that beard. Glad you have great neighbors. Have a wonderful Christmas.

Sharing pets is so cool. And i love the pictures. You have wonderful friends and family. I bet David is just confused with all the holiday goings on.I get confused this time of year. Merry Christmas!

That picture of Cam and Casey is deserving of the honor, everything about it is lovely. It is worth enlarging and framing to hang in your home.

Your family pictures make me happy and a little sad ( because of what David cannot remember or appreciate anymore). The Snuggie company should contact you for a copy of that one, and your grandchildren are so pretty, even your grandson, but don't tell him I said that.

My daughter has become my best friend too, we are blessed in that. Merry Christmas David and Dolores!
