The year was 2000...... our best friends getting married.
God has truly blessed us with many wonderful friends in our life, but I must say this exceptional couple are more than friends. There should be another word for what they are to us...perhaps ... family/friends...that still doesn't sound good enough.
Anyway, .....our family/friends are always there for us on a daily basis.... through the good times, the bad times and the whatever times.....how good is that!
Our family/friends adopted a precious two year old girl from India about the same time Ellie came into our lives from China..... we are blessed two times!!
How time flies.... our girls are now 10 years old.
Last night we celebrated my best friend's birthday at none other than Olive Garden.... David's favorite....
You can tell by the look on his face that it was a good night ... (mine too!)
God is so good!....

What a coincidence .. Carl and I just walked in the door from Olive Garden. I looked at your photos in the restaurant ... everything in the background was the same. Our dinners were delicious.

Delores,the photo of David kissing you is so special and telling. Progressivly, you have switched roles as a couple... you now caring for him, but in this photo I see him caring for you. I believe that deep down every woman wants a man to care for her, love her, and protect her, and for that moment, David was taking care of you, David was the Protector. I think that must have filled your heart with such joy, love, rest, peace, and comfort. Here's to many more moments of him caring for you. I'm so happy you all had such a wonderful evening.
