A HAPPY FATHER'S DAY FOR DAVID

Father's Day started on Saturday for David.  Our daughter and her family came for the day, and thankfully David was in fine form.   Our daughter hasn't seen him in a good mood for awhile, so this was wonderful!

I discovered a station on our TV that plays old classic country music.    Oh my goodness, how David comes alive when he listens to this music.
When our daughter arrived, he was listening to the music, and he wanted to dance.   Thankfully I had my camera available, and took a cute video.   I was going to post it, but it's too long, and I don't know how to shorten it.

Sunday was another good day!   We went to Sunday school, and our son and his family took us out for lunch.

Three of our grandson's had a piano recital, recently..

David's doing well so far this week....... thank you God!

Oh, my friend, it's so true, you can tell David comes alive when listening to his fav music! Well, you know music is food for the soul and the mind, nothing better than music, maybe you should always play it to him to sooth and calm him...I guess; it happens to me when I'm upset, I just play soemthing and that's it, my mind is at a better frame! You look like you had a great Dad's Day, for which I'm so glad...we also went out for the celebration. Lots of hugs. FABBY

Precious post and sweet memories. God is so very kind to weave together the 'threads of gold and silver' along with the dark ones in the pattern of our lives. I'm rejoicing with you that God has given you some sweet times! Thank you Lord!

So sweet to see David dancing with his girl. It must've been a wonderful blessing to have him in good form for Father's Day. Those oldies classics always put me in a great frame of mind...I'm not in the least surprised that they help David feel chipper.

What handsome grandsons you have! Sweet smiles from each one...

Dolores... you posted at another blog about your feral cat with kittens? Will you wait until the kittens are weaned? I need some advice on when to take the mama in to have her spayed. Her kitten is still nursing but I figure she is about 5 or 6 weeks old. How do I know when she would be okay to spend the night alone? Would you put your mama back with the kittens the same day she is spayed? I thought I'd need to keep her separated for a few days to heal? Any advice?

What wonderful news that David is having some good times right now. He looks happy dancing so I guess that is something the two of you did often. They do hold onto those moments of happiness when they can.

I followed your lead and got my blog published into a book. I am so thrilled. Thanks for leading the way.

Aww, this is such a sweet pic of David and your daughter! I know you wouldn't take anything for that and seeing them both smiling and happy together! So glad he had a wonderful Father's Day!

Glad you found that station with old country. I'll bet David really listens to that and enjoys it still.

And look at your budding musicians! Aren't they a fine looking bunch of young-uns! Hope yours and David's week went swimmingly wonderfun!
