WALK THROUGH this WORLD WITH ME

Friends are such a blessing!!!!!  If you're going through @#$%! whether it is cancer, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, heart disease, diabetes, depression......etc etc...... you discover people in your life who lift you up and give you love and strength to move forward.    The disappointment of the few is small compared to the ones who are there for you!

There's  old friends, new friends, faithful friends and friends you've lost touch with  who come into your life......again..... I've 'gotta say'.... We are blessed beyond with the blessing of friends.

Yesterday some friends went with me  to see David.    When David heard their voices .... he had a small smile on his face.    Thank you God!

I continue to marvel at AlzCare and the loving care they give my beloved.      On his night stand was a CD player  that hadn't been there  the day before  .... I open it and the CD is Classic Country (David's favorite).   We turn it on and the first song to play is: Walk Through This World With Me...by George Jones (one of David's favorites).

I am so blessed to walk through this world with David, my friends and my family.
GOD IS GOOD!

You are so fortunate to have the backup of friends. This nasty disease is a lonely place for the caregiver. Think of you often.. sending hugs ~lynne~

The image of you with David is prize worthy!!! Hope your weekend is a good one. It is very hot/dry here on the high desert ... moisture and cooler temps on their way. We can smell smoke from the forest fires burning today.

Wow. George Jones was just a baby. That's a nice song and I'm glad that David got to hear it. How wonderful that he knew his friends were there.

Always a blessing waiting here when you've posted. You're a special kind of gal, Dolores.

Readingg your words reminds me why I strive to find a daily piece of Daddy when I visit. You don't know how much your words have meant to me. Thank you for sharing. Please know that even though we have never met, you and your precious David remain in my thoughts and prayers daily!

You and David made the most of the loves, lives, and talents you were given. David can rest now, and you will continue to do his work in God's Kingdom. Sometimes when I look at the clouds, it is because CB loved clouds, and would not want them to be wasted. Love you both.

What a blessing to have seen that little smile on David's face. My husband also is a country music fan. He tells me since he was a little boy he has liked country music. I'm so happy David listens to his music once in awhile. Thank you sweet friend for visiting me, if you come back you will see a concert that my daughter Julie took me to. She is so sweet to do that. We are truly blessed with our families. Prayers and Hugs, Lu

Dolores.....You always always find the good things in your journey with David. That's what makes you so YOU. He is very lucky to have such a devoted, loving wife. I'm so glad his caretakers are so tuned in to who he is. He is very obviously being held in the palms of God's hands. And so are you, dear friend.

Doloras...you have no idea how many people you are helping with your posts..for everyone that leaves a comment I know there are at least five that read in silence and come away with hope (or at least peace) in their heart that tomorrow brings another day for them and their loved ones...xo

As the saying goes: "You get what you give!" You of all people deserve to have such wonderful friends and so does David, as you are and have always been wonderful friends for anyone to be blessed having..I for one feel very blessed to become your friend, thru our blogs, as it was meant to, otherwise I wouldn't have been so lucky as to get to know you, darling friend. It makes me so happy to know of this great place, Alzcare..where they seem to be very sentive to David's needs.
What else can you ask for. It really amazes me at some reactions David has any given moment..I think it's because of his extreme intelligence, despite his illness.
Have a great week.
Love,
FABBY

Dolores, your posts are always up-lifting to me, even when you're sad, because you never fail to express your love for David, and there is always at least a tiny glimpse of hope in the goodness of God and then ultimately, your praise to Him, no matter what.
